Last week's 5-0 win over Airdrie avenged our heavy defeat at Broomfield. We became bogged down with short-passing through the middle early on, but once the ball was moved around to the wings there was never much doubt about the outcome.
While it was a team effort, mention must be made of John Docherty, settling into the side after being absent for a spell, and John McMaster, who got through a power of work. George Campbell was also in the mood to show his own 'private supporters' Club' that he knew the route to goal. So anxious was he to take his penalty that he had the ball in the net before the referee was ready, and had to do it all over again! Campbell also scored the first goal and the others came from Craig - a great volley - Crawford and McCall.
