After some strong performances from the team, Barry was confirmed interim manager until the end of the 2022-23 season. Following seven straight wins and winning the cinch Premiership Manager of the Month award for March, Barry and his staff helped stabilise the Club, with the team currently sitting third and locked in a battle to secure European football, resulting in his appointment becoming permanent on 1st May 2023.
The following season with the prospect of Group Stage involvement in Europe and a greatly reinforced playing staff, there was a great deal of optimism in the cam, but despite some good performances the form of the senior team was poor overall and at the end of January 2024 the Club parted company with Barry and his assistant Steve Agnew.
