Full name: Alexander Shiach.
Played for the original Aberdeen FC before the merger in 1903, debuting on 16th October 1897, and was the first player ever to score a goal at Pittodrie, indeed he was the first to score at either end of the ground. He achieved this in Pittodrie Park's inaugural match against Dumbarton in 1899 where he bagged a hat-trick in a 7-1 victory.
After retiring from the professional game, Alex was reinstated to the amateur ranks in late 1906.
