A powerful player capable of doing a job in midfield or defence, Isaac's time at Pittodrie was dogged by injury. Nonetheless, he was very popular with the fans as he always managed to make a siginificant contribution when he played and frequently won the man of the match award. Reluctantly left the Club at the end of season 2012-13 to return to the midlands but later resurfaced as a Partick Thistle player.
