Jessica joined AFC Women from AFC Ladies' U19s National Performance League team in July 2019, having played a key role in their recent League Cup success. The defender has represented Scotland at Youth National Team level, including captaining her country at the U16s age group. On 6th May 2022, Jess became one of the first five players to sign for the Club on semi-professional terms.
At the end of season 2023-24 Jess chose to leave the club despite offers of a new contract. However, on 14th February 2025 the Club announced that she had returned on loan from Hearts until the end of the 2024-25 season.
On 27th June the Club confirmed that Jess had rejoined permenantly.
