Stefan Gartenmann joined the Dons on a season long loan from Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland.

The 26-year-old defender arrived late on deadline day and brought the total number of summer arrivals to thirteen.

Gartenmann signed his first professional contract with Eredivisie side Heerenveen before returning to Denmark, joining Danish Superliga club SønderjyskE on a three-year contract in 2017.
