Prominent Aberdeen Player Transferred.

It was learned yesterday that Thomas S. Pirie, the ex-Queen's Park Player, who for the past two seasons has made frequent appearances for the Aberdeen league team at centre-forward and at centre-half, had been transferred Cardiff City.
Pirie, whose introduction at centre-forward in the league team two seasons ago practically saved the Aberdeen club from relegation, was not re-signed for next term, and it was understood that for business reasons he was likely to give up the game. The news of his transfer to the Welsh club will occasion much surprise, and it will be felt that the Aberdeen club has lost a splendid all-round and loyal player. The amount the transfer fee has not been divulged.
