Journeying to Aberdeen, the Dundee A team met the Orion at Cattofield. There was a fairly large attendance, considering the fact that there were other two matches in progress in the city. The pitch was in capital condition, but a strong breeze did much to put first-class play out of the question, Teams: Dundee A - Coventry; Watson, Thoms; Ferrier, Lowe, Gould; Rankine, Ford, Sutherland, Williamson, Tyndall. Orion - Morrison; Ross, Mitchell; Stopani, John Low, James Low; Gloag, Benzie, Thom, Leggat, Clark. Referee - Mr Peter Simpson, Aberdeen. From the kick-off the game was brimful of interest. Notwithstanding the fact that the Orion were minus two of their foremost players, they proved more than a match for the visitors, and time was called with the score standing: Orion, 4 ; Dundee, 1.
