At Victoria Bridge Grounds on Saturday our energetic and intensely lively friends from Peterhead faced their equally enthusiastic compeers, the Vics. On beginning the Peterhead lads worked with a will, and for a time kept the Blues well at work. The very soon shot their bolt, however, and the Torry men kept them on the defence right up to the finish, scoring 4 goals to nil in each half, which could very easily have been enlarged had the homesters cared to exert themselves. Robbie Turner, the erstwhile popular forward, first of the Victoria United and latterly of Aberdeen, acted as referee.
