The Liverpool terminated their Easter tour last night by a match with the Victoria United at Torry, Aberdeen. There was an attendance of about 2000. The guarantee was £25, and the gate money fully covered that amount. The teams were: Liverpool - Storer; Dunlop, Goldie; McCartney, Neil, Cleghorn; Hannah, Becton, Michael, Geary, Bradshaw. United - Findlay; McNeil, Allan; Russell, Davidson, Grant; McPherson, Murison, G. Burnett, J. Burnett, Stopani. Mr J. Thomson was referee. The United were considerably handicapped by Morrice, Annand, and Thornton, their usual half-back players, being unable to take their places. With the exception of Michael being substituted for Allan, the Liverpool had their full team. The game opened very fast, both teams setting to work with a will. The combination of the visitors was really fine, and at times the United were completely bewildered. Findlay, however, was in the pink of condition, and Bradshaw, who, it may be remembered, played for England in the international league match at Glasgow last Saturday, was unable to find an opening, notwithstanding his accurate shooting. He was, however, instrumental, before the end of the first half, in having a goal scored for the Liverpool. He finished a fine run by centring, and Becton, who was lying well in, baffled Findlay. Towards the close of the first period Davidson was injured and had to be removed. He was unable again to take his place. The second forty-five minutes' play was not so interesting as the first, the teams taking matters much easier. The United, however, kept a tight rein, and not withstanding that they numbered only ten, they succeeded in preventing the English team from scoring further. J. Burnett and McPherson at forward, McNeil at back, and Findlay in goal were the most effective on the United side, while the best players amongst the visitors were Bradshaw, Geary, Becton, Goldie, and Storer. The match ended in favour of the Liverpool by 1 goal to nil, Mr Mitchell, the United secretary, and the United committee generally are to be complimented on the enterprise they have shown during the past three weeks in bringing so many first-class teams to the city.

The Vics, with an enterprise that might have been better rewarded arranged a visit from Liverpool on Wednesday last. With the exception of Allan, the Scotch internationalist, the full team appeared and gave an exhibition of scientific play such as we but seldom see here. Bradshaw, outside left, was the most brilliant man on his side. In the open, Liverpool's play was very pretty to look at, but they did not put much sting into their parting shots. The final result was a victory for the strangers by 2-1.
