The Aberdeen League team played an exhibition game at Inverness last night against the Caledonian. The game was well packed and iced, and both teams received an ovation, the specially the Caledonian, as within the last few days they have won the north of Scotland Cup, the Highland League Championship, and the Inverness Cup. Aberdeen played Mcleod, late Caledonian, at centre. The game was keenly contested, and in the first half Aberdeen scored twice, while the Caledonian failed to open their account. Second half was fairly well fought out, with Aberdeen always ahead. The Caledonian, however, played better, and scored their only goal, the visitors replying with two.
