At Pittodrie there was a poor game between Aberdeen and Dundee in the return fixture for the Robertson Cup. On the preceding Saturday Dundee won 1-0, and as they drew - 1-1 - at Aberdeen, they keep the trophy. The visitors had out a strong side, but Aberdeen, without Colman, Munro, Cail, and McLaughlan, were but a shadow of themselves. Three Territorials, Davidson, Mitchell, and Thomson, stepped into the eleven, and did wonderfully well under the circumstances. So did Filley, the 'Varsity skipper, who nursed his partner cleverly.
Dundee attacked briskly, and Brown, their centre, was very persistent. He was about the best forward seen in the first half, and it was fitting that the goal should come from his foot.
On resuming Aberdeen pressed, W. Wylie being prominent. To Main fell the equaliser, and Aberdeen, with a little care, might have got another.
