These teams met in an East of Scotland League match at Falkirk on Thursday, before a large attendance. Aberdeen were fully represented, with the exception of Ruddiman, who for a few weeks has been on the injured list. In the first half Aberdeen had the major share of the play, their forwards particularly distinguishing themselves. When the teams crossed over no goals had been scored. In the second half, play, if not so fine, was more exciting. Full cook scored twice through Simpson and Leishman, and Aberdeen got a goal from the foot of McAulay.
