Lively Cup-tie |
 |
Prospects of Aberdeen finishing the season with all four honours to their credit are good. They have already won both League championships and the N.E. League Supplementary Cup.
Bv drawing 1-1 with Raith Rovers at Kirkcaldy, they have laid the foundation for another suucess in the competition for the trophv presented by Mr W Mitchell, chairman of the club. The Rovers come to Pittodrie for the second game in the final on May 29.
The Dons were worth their draw at Stark's Park. It was real cup-tie football from start to finish. The defences were spoilers all the time and generally masters of the attacks. There was not a dull moment in the game.
