The Aberdeen football team visited Inverness last night and played an exhibition match with a strong eleven of the Caledonian. A large crowd witnessed the game. The visitors gave a sparkling display, Lennie and O'Hagan especially. McEachran, the Aberdeen outside right, also played smartly, and Aberdeen scored four goals. The Caledonian replied with one, got for a fine bit of passing on the part of the forwards. Final result :- Aberdeen, four; Caledonian, one.
