Buckie Thistle 1 - 2 Aberdeen
Kick Off:    W. Smith 35       Lennie 75, Wilson 85.
Attendance: 0
Venue: Victoria Park, Buckie
The Aberdeen football team played an exhibition match last night in the Victoria Park, Buckie, with Buckie Thistle, in fine weather and before a large attendance.

Buckie immediately pressed, Mann sending in a hot shot, which King, in goal, caught. Aberdeen retaliated, but Hector, in the Buckie goal, saved a hard cross shot from Lennie. King was again tested, Buckie taking full advantage of the easy play by Aberdeen. King had again to save against Buckie, who were playing an excellent game. From a smart run by Mann, Clark almost scored for Buckie. From a corner, after 35 minutes' play, Stewart shot, and King fisted out, but W. Smith, returning smartly, opened the scoring for Buckie. Buckie crossed over leading by one goal.

Hard give-and-take play ensued, but Aberdeen, although mostly in Buckie territory, could not score till fifteen minutes from time, when Lennie equalised from a smart cross from the opposite wing. Darkness fell, the ball being seen with difficulty by the players and scarcely at all by the spectators. From a scrimmage Wilson scored for Aberdeen a few minutes from time.
