Kick Off:  2:40 PM
Attendance: 0
Venue: Holburn Cricket Ground, Aberdeen
Played at Holburn. The Chanonry had not all their first eleven, playing five of their second string, However they ought to have done much better than they did, as the Caledonian play was not of the very best. The game ended in a draw, 1 goal each.

Played at Holburn. The Aberdeen playing downhill began pressing. Key during the first five minutes had some splendid runs and scored the only goal for the Aberdeen. During the first half the Aberdeen had the best of the game, and had it not been for the splendid goal keeping of Brown would certainly have scored more. The Caley during this half missed one or two good chances. The second half was more equal, the Caley showing better than in the first half, equalised. Towards the end the play was inclined to be a little rough. Clark of the Caley, a few minutes before the call of time, had rather a nasty fall and had to be carried off the field, after which both teams scored, but were both disallowed. The game ended in darkness, 1 goal each. It would be but fair to mention that the Aberdeen played only Ketchen, McVey, Key, Christie, and Brown of usual eleven. Key and Christie showed up well on the right, but Dodger Clark on the left gave Campbell no chance, always keeping the ball until it was taken from him.
