The Bon Accord did most of the pressing in the first half and scored by McFarlane before the game was hall an-hour old; this they repeated by Forsyth just before half-time, but the point was disallowed owing to the ball being said to be over the line, a decision which was very doubtful In the second half the game was more evenly contested, the "Bons" managing to keep their goal intact, until a quarter of an hour from time when the "Vics" scored by Taylor, thus equalising the game. It seemed as if the match was to end thus but the "Vics" were very fortunate in scoring about a minute from time, thus winning a hard earned victory by the narrow majority of 2 goals to 1.
