Yet another returns to the fold
Downie was also on the scoresheet in the East Reserve Legue game at Alloa. Indeed, the Pittodrie side had to thank Ian, coming on as substitute for Andy Gibson on the hour mark, for salvaging a 1-1 draw with a 78th minute equaliser, Alloa having taken the lead following a "soft" penalty award on the poor playing surface at Recreation Park five minutes before the interval.
