Cowdenbeath 0 - 0 Aberdeen

HT Score: Cowdenbeath 0 - 0 Aberdeen

Scottish Reserve League East

12/10/1987 | KO: 19:30

The third team were held to a 0-0 draw at Cowdenbeath but it was another useful exercise. 'This League is proving to be all we expected of it,' said Scott. 'In the Cowdenbeath game, for instance, we were able to keep Irvine and Grant playing which was something we badly wanted to do.
'Cowdenbeath put out a fairly strong team, too, so it was quite a good match. Once again our younger players were given a valuable insight into what is expected of them. Playing games can be more beneficial than training. We're able to give them instructions on what kind of things we expect them to do in match conditions and it's rewarding to see how often they carry out these instructions.'
