Yeats was on target in a 3-0 Youth League win over Partick Thistle at Kirkintilloch. On a very heavy pitch, a well-rehearsed free kick manoeuvre was finished off by Yeats for the opening goal in 25 minutes and the subsequent goals, scored by Dennis Wyness and substitute Alan Houston, also sprang from well-worked moves.
The Kirkintilloch game brought the Aberdeen youths their tenth win in 11 league fixtures, and their goal tally to 36, for the loss of only nine.
