Keith Heavily Beaten At Pittodrie

In a Highland League match at Pittodrie last night, Aberdeen "A" defeated Keath by 4 goals to 0. In the first half, the visitors had the advantage of a strong wind, but although they were frequently attacking, they were weak in front of goal and Cunningham had an easy time. Aberdeen "A" also had numerous chances to score, but the forwards were inept, and there was no score at the interval. Keith mad a brave show in the earlier stages of the second half, and might have opened the scoring had J. Cowie steadied himself. Aberdeen opened their account through Macdonald following a well-placed corner kick by Grant. Keith fell away afterwards, and Paton (twice) and Forbes added further goals. For Aberdeen "A" Ritchie, Diak, McHale, Macdonald, Grant and Paton were best, and for Keith, Brand, Brown, Murray, Gordon (centre-half), and T. Cowie were most effective.
