Although there were times when they rallied and put up a good fight, especially for a period of fifteen minutes in the second half, Fraserburgh were no match for Aberdeen "A" in an Aberdeenshire and District League match at Pittodrie last night, and, beaten by 7 goals to 0, met the usual fate of northern visitors at Pittodrie. The Fraserburgh players lasted the game well, but team work told its tale, and, after Aberdeen had taken the lead, the visitors were really never in the game with a winning chance. Davidson hit the Aberdeen crossbar early on, but efforts by several home players met the same fate later, and the big margin at the finish was only in accordance with the relative merits of the teams. All the Aberdeen forwards - Love, Falloon, McFarlane, Bruce (D.), and Smith - scored, the two first-named each having two goals. Despite the big score against him, McIntosh did well in the visitors' goal, and they were well served by McRobbie, Stephen, and Gray. Aberdeen, who fielded a strong eleven, were best represented by Ritchie, Lawson, Love, and Falloon.
