Michael Hart and Darren Mackie started only their second pre-season games.
Aberdeen also had another trialist on show. Senegalese striker Noel Mendy, who played for Marila Pribram in the Czech Republic last season, was given a start.
Aberdeen's best chance fell to John Stewart. Chris Clark played in a good cross but the young strikers shot hit the post and went across the goal line before being cleared.
Mendy then had a good opportunity to put his name on the score sheet but he put his effort wide.
Zander Diamond was next to have a chance. Darren Mackie did well to cut the ball back but the defender put his header over.
Mendy was then unlucky not to score. Mackie again created the chance with a good cross. The Senegalese striker put in a good header but the keeper made a great save.
Richard Foster suffered a problem with his groin and was replaced by Kyle Macaulay on 26 minutes. How bad the injury is won't be known until tomorrow.
Despite Aberdeen finishing off with a strong side they were unable to break down their Dutch opponents. New signings Jamie Smith and Barry Nicholson were both put on along with Winter, Muirhead and Byrne.
After the game there were one or two rather tired looking players as they left for the hotel. As well as having to play the match today, the squad trained last night after they arrived and again this morning for an hour.
