This tie in the Robertson Cup was played last night before 2000 at Falkirk. The home club were without Anderson, Reid, Davidson and Devine, while Aberdeen were practically at full strength. While play was pretty evenly divided in the first half, the feature was the brilliant work of Lennie and O'Hagan. As the result of whose efforts Aberdeen scored three goals in the first half. In the second half play was more even, and each side scored two goals. Result :- Aberdeen, five goals; Falkirk, two goals.

The opening minute of the game the Aberdeen left wing gave an example of their combination, I and, though ther initial run brought nothing, a second attempt terminated in Blackburn turning in a perfect center from Lennie. In the next minute Niblo dashed off on his own, I and, single-handed, beat the Falkirk defence and registered a second goal. Only a few minutes elapsed ere Aberdeen put on a third goal. Lennie cleverly stopped a long ball, and, after regaining his feet, outwitted Gibson and McKenna.

Immediately on resumption Niblo burst off, and, sprinting down the field at full speed, netted for a fourth time. Simpson, on the Falkirk right, was being starved, but a nice pass he gave to J. McTavish led the way to the laughter opening the Falkirk account. The Aberdeen left wing, after some clever work, caught the fifth goal, O'Hagan being the scorer. In the last minutes Simpson put on Falkirk's second point.
