Reserves In Scoring Mood

In their match with Arbroath amateurs, under Northern League auspices, at Pittodrie, Aberdeen reserves proved to be in scoring mood, and won easily by six goals to one. McIntosh opened the scoring for Aberdeen after a good run by Soye, and before the interval Robertson added a second goal for the home side.

Munro, left back of the home team, was absent in the second half as the result of an injury and received earlier, and Chatwin, right half, was crippled. Although thus at a disadvantage, Aberdeen reserves continued to have the best of matters, and goals followed from Scorgie, who gained three, and brown, one. The Amateurs Pierce the home defence once, and were rather badly outplayed.
