Students Lose At Pittodrie

Aberdeen Reserves and Aberdeen University met at Pittodrie in a friendly game. There was a very small attendance of spectators. Time and again the universe to defence was hard pressed, but they managed to hold out. Green and Edgar had several good tries, but none proved effective. Brown, who was playing a fine game, accepting a pass from Monroe, gave the Aberdeen reserves the lead. The University recovered, and Finnie equalised. Aberdeen continued to have most of the play, and shortly before the interval Brown scored.

In the second half Aberdeen did most of the pressing. Occasionally the university got down, but they were easily held in check by the opposing defence. Brown again score for Aberdeen. Two wards the finish the streams tried hard to reduce the leeway, but bad luck and a strong defence prevented them. Greens scored 1/4 point for Aberdeen.
