Aberdeen 0 - 1 Inverness Caledonian

Highland League

25/04/1914 | KO: 15:30

The Highland League flag which has floated over Pittodrie during the past year has been lost. The deciding match for the championship was played at Pittodrie on Saturday, when Inverness Caledonian carried off the honour, winning by a single goal. The Inverness team have played consistently well during the season, and no one will grudge them their well-merited triumph. Their success in the Qualifying Cup ties stamp them as a team of more than average merit, and their winning of the Highland flag should give an added interest to the national winter pastime in the north.
