Aberdeen A and Dundee A met at Pittodrie on Saturday afternoon in a Northern League fixture. A fair crowd witnessed a game, which was sharply contested in an intermittent hail storm.
The pace set from the beginning was a fast one, and immediately after the kick-off Dundee visited Aberdeen's end. Not 5 minutes had elapsed, however, when Robertson opened the scoring for Aberdeen with a splendid shot. In the next quarter of an hour Robertson and McLeod both beat Jamison, and during the whole of the first half the home team maintained the offensive role.
Dundee rallied considerably after half-time, and for a period Aberdeen's goal was in danger from the onslaughts of the Dundee's forward line. Only brilliant goal keeping by Anderson, with the cooperation of the backs, kept it intact. Aberdeen also had several good attempts out Dundee's goal, but there was no scoring in the second half.
