Reserves Fall Heavily

Although they showed a fine recovery in the second half, Reserves were heavily beaten by the Scottish Alliance leaders?Motherwell Reserves?at Fir Park, victory going the home team 4 ?0. All the goals were secured in the first half, when the Pittodrie team could not get going. Dick opened the scoring after 20 minutes, and Bell, Spiers, and Gardner got further points before the interval. In the second half the Pittodrie men gave a much-improved display, and although they repeatedly attacked they failed to beat down the fine defence the leaders. In this match Aberdeen tried a new left back.
