Reserves Fall Heavily

In a Scottish Alliance game at Lesser Hampden on Saturday Aberdeen Reserves were beaten by Queen's Park Strollers by 6 goals to 2. The score was not in accordance with the run of the game, a new goalkeeper was on trial from the Motherwell district failing to do himself justice for the Pittodrie team. In this match a trial was given to McLeod, the Glasgow Perthshire back, and he created quite a favourable impression, showing admirable judgment and coolness. The goal-scorers for Aberdeen were Lees and Macdonald, and for the Strollers A Fyfe had five goals and F. Roberts one. Best for Aberdeen Reserves were McLeod, Robertson, Yule, Macdonald. and Ritchie.
