Aberdeen 'A' Beaten

In a Scottish Alliance game at Coatbridge, the Aberdeen reserve team was beaten by Albion Rovers "A" by 3 goals to 0. Playing against the wind in the first half, the Pittodrie players gave a splendid account of themselves, the defence being brilliant, and there was no score at the internal. In the earlier period of the second half Aberdeen attacked strongly, and but for the weakness of Walker, a Glasgow junior on trial at centre forward, must have established commanding lead. He lost at least three golden opportunities to score. Later, the Rovers recovered, and McQuade, Moffat, and Kirk scored.
