Raith Rovers 2 - 2 Aberdeen

Scottish Reserve League
Aberdeen scorers: Ward, Clunie.

02/03/1957 | KO: 15:00

Precious Point

The Reserves dropped a valuable point last week to Raith Rovers A and Hearts A won at home to keep h erace very close. The Young Dons served up quite a good display and might be considered a trifle unfortunate not to collect both points. They were the better football side and with a little more care and thrust would have got more goals. On the other hand the home players made up for their lack of skill by showing plenty of endeavour. With luck running their way, they might easily have "pipped" the Dons. Young Clydesdale, who has been discharged from the aermy, was an interested spectator. He is back now in full training and "rarin' to go."
