Aberdeen "A"' added to their successes on Saturday by defeating Lochgelly United by two goals to nil in an Alliance match at Lochgelly. Aberdeen A attacked, and a fine cross by Ross was met by Love, but Paterson saved cleverly. The visitors continued to press, and Lawson sent wildly over. Later Macfarlane scored a fine goal with an overhead kick. At the other end McSevich ran out and saved from Russell. At this stage the United were putting up a good fight. Towards the interval Aberdeen again applied the pressure, Patterson saving with difficulty from "Junior," and Innes conceded a corner in stopping Macfarlane. In the second half Lochgelly took up the thread of attack, and the Aberdeen defence was put seriously to the test. At the other end Paterson was called on to save from Ross. The United, however, were soon at the other end, where McSevich saved with confidence when challenged. Aberdeen came away strongly after this, and added a second goal.
