Hewitt And Falconer On Target

The Dons "A" team also played a challenge match against the Aberdeenshire FA at Peterhead and included a number of first-team players in their line-up, running out comfortable 3-0 winners.
John Hewitt opened the scoring with a long range effort and although there were no more goals in the first period, the Dons added to their lead in the second half. First Willie Falconer rounded off a fine individual goal with a 15-yard effort and 20 minutes from the end Brian Grant had a shot blocked by the keeper but Hewitt was on hand to knock in the rebound for his second goal.
