Aberdeen 5 - 0 Dundee

Scottish Reserve League
Aberdeen scorers: Brownlee, Cooper, Davidson, Davidson, Paterson.

06/09/1958 | KO: 15:00

After the debacle of Heatheryfold and the "Woe, woe" headlines seen the day following, it would be just like the Young Dons to "go to twon" against the same opposition at Pittodrie last Saturday. Both in defence and attack, Aberdeen reserves were superior to the visitors and they were well worth their 5-0 victory. An injury to Bonthrone in the Dundee side was balanced by the fact that Willie Logie sustained a damaged shoulder and was more or less a passenger throughout the second half.
