Wee Dons Cash In On Their Superiority

Victory over St. Johnstone A gave us our first double, and saw the defence much improved. Andy Geoghegan was back to form, and his defensive colleagues weren't often troubled by a poor St. Johnstone side. The result should have been much more decisive than 2-0, the home finishing being poor. A bright spot, however, was the fine display of George Campbell, who pleased the crowd with some excellent efforts - and he also converted a penalty (just!). The other goal came from Bobby Street, who was inclined to do things in too big a hurry.
