Wee Dons Roar Back In Style

We had a runaway victory over Hibernian Reserves at Pittodrie, winning by seven goals to one. Hibs scored first but Danny McGeough equalised and then added a second, so the score stood at 2-1 at half time. Alan Oliver who took Peter's place did a grand job, and also got into the scoring act. With us scoring seven goals, you would think it was one way traffic, but John Gardiner in goal had to save three good shots from the Hibs forwards, to keep us in the game. Neil Cooper our sweeper again showed his class by turning in a five star performance. The experienced Steve Ritchie again playing centre half, played well and was a tremendous help to the youngsters round about him.
Doug Considine was another star player for us. He had a hand in three of our goals. We travelled to Firhill today and it is never easy to pick up points there, but the way our boys are playing I will be disappointed if we don't come back with both points.
