No Reward For Young Dons Early Pressure

This game was played on a hard and slippy pitch and under those conditions it was a very exciting game. Celtic had four experienced players in their line-up while we had probably the youngest team we have fielded this season.
The game was marred by the sending off of Pat McCluskey for retaliation after being fouled by Neil Cooper. We lost a goal early in the second half, when after a poor pass by George Campbell, Casey broke down the right wing and with our defence caught out, Edvaldson had an easy task to put the ball in the net. We equalised when Duncan Davidson headed in George Campbell corner kick. Our best players were Ally McLean, Neil Cooper, Bobby Glennie, John Reilly and Derek Fraser.
