Experience Tells For Young Dons

We won this game quite easily, by three goals to one, our scorers being Dave Robb with a fine solo effort, Drew Jarvie after good play by Dave Robb, and Ian Gibson (it's a long time since he scored) headed our third from a Drew Jarvie pass. The feature of this game was the brilliant display of Davie Robb. The big strikers running off the ball, and his distribution was first class. I hope some of the younger players learned something from his display.
Drew Jarvie making his comeback after injury, played well, and his hard work and skill was a deciding factor on the final result. Good performances were also turned in by Ally McLean in goal, Derek Fraser who improves with every game at left back, and John McMaster who combined well with Dave Robb.
