Money Earns His Money

By beating St. Mirren on Saturday we have moved into second place in the League, one point behind Celtic but with a game in hand. Steve Cowan who scored for us in the last minute on Saturday, was delighted with himself. Stevie was an S signing with the Saints and when they released him, our manager fixed him up. I think this is one boy who has the ability to go to the top.
Doug Considine playing at centre-half was the outstanding player on the field. He never put a foot wrong and was a great help to the young lads around him. Jim Leighton has make a good recovery from his cartilage operation and is back to his best form, he tells me he has only conceded four goals in eleven games, which is not bad going in any grade of football.
