Young Dons on Top at Falkirk

ALTHOUGH only gaining the verdict by the odd goal in seven Aberdeen "A" were distinctly the better side in their league game against Falkirk "A" at Brockville Park.

The Young Dons were the better-balanced team and worthily earned their two points.
Dick at outside left was given his senior baptism and it was from his cross that Kiddie got the first goal in two minutes.
Ian Rodgers had the second in twelve minutes and Hay registered the third three minutes afterwards. The fourth came out of a scramble after fifteen minutes of the second half and O'Neill got the credit for this one.
Falkirk's goals were by Mack (2), the first in twenty-four minutes and the second from a doubtful penalty eight minutes after resumption, and Young eight minutes from the end.
