After being written down so much, it was natural that the Dons would be considered "outsiders" in their Cathkin game last Saturday, especially since their opponents have this season been looked upon as Glasgow's "blue-eyed boys."
Admittedly, the Dons didn't put in a 100 per cent. performance, but they were clearly superior to Third Lanark and deserved their victory. A feature of the win was the sound display given by the entire defence. Geoge Mulhall in his unaccustomed role of centre-forward, was by no means a failure.
An unfortunate incident in the match was the dismissal of one of the Glasgow players. The Dons were entirely guiltless in the matter.
