A FAST game at Links Park between Montrose and Aberdeen "A" was spoiled by too many fouls, both sides being guilty.

Montrose piled on the pressure after the restart, but Shaw and Thomson kept them at bay. In a breakaway an Aberdeen attacker was upended in the penalty area, and Bruce made no mistake.
Montrose kept plugging away, but their only reward was a scrambled goal by Strachan. On the run of play they deserved a point.
