Offer to Trialist
The Aberdeen reserves evidently had a rough time at Methil, having to battle against rain, sleet and snow. Reggie Morrison, the Pittodrie 'keeper, who had little to do, must have suffered badly from exposure.
The voung Dons finished deserving winners and are now established at the top of the "C" Division table. Ewan and Rodger were outstanding in the Aberdeen side.
How bad the conditions at Methtil were may be judged from the fact that the game attracted onlv 200 spectators and the "gate" amounted to £l4.
Aberdeen's trialist left half - Tom Liddell of Musselburgh Union - put up quite an impressive show. It is understood that Liddell, who is an apprentice compositor, is considering an offer from the Pittodrie club.
