Young Dons Shine In Attack
A scintillating second-half performance enabled Aberdeen "A" to extricate themselves from an apparently hopeless position at Links Park, Montrose, on Saturday.
Down 1-4 at half-time they recovered to win 6-4, thus repeating the score between the two sides at Pitlodrie some time ago.
While the forwards deserve full marks, the same cannot be said about the Young Dons’ defence.
Doig (Inverurie Loco Works), who was in goal, was not too well protected during that first half, in which Paris was always too clever for Anderson at centre-half.
Rodger (2), Yorston (2), McNeill and Pearson scored for Aberdeen. The left winger's effort was the best of the match.
