Arrived with the Dons from Sunnybank in 1960 having played rugby in the mornings and football in the afternoons when at the Grammar School. He clocked up 139 competitive matches for Aberdeen befre moving on in 1966.
When with Inverness Caledonian, Dave worked as a lecturer.
