Profile:
Nicknamed Pele, George was an exciting player to watch and it came as a disappontment all round amongst the fans when he did not break through to more first team appearances. Moved to South Melbourne in 1978 for a five figure fee and has remained there since, heavily involved in coaching, bringing a Melbourne All-Stars team to visit Aberdeen several times in the 20teens.
