Profile: |
An astute signing by Craig Brown, Northern Ireland International Niall brought the Dons a supply of goals, many of them spectacular, that made him an invaluable member of the Club. In season 2012-2013 he became the first Aberdeen player in many years to break the 20 goals in a season barrier. He was a key regular in the Dons' teams fielded by Derek McInnes.
Niall left Pittodrie at the end of season 2016-17 and signed for South Korean club Gwangju, but left them by mutual agreement in the autumn of 2017 and ultimately signed up for a return to Pittodrie effective 1st January 2018.
On 24th January 2022 it was announced that Niall had left the Club and he immediately joined Dundee FC. He left the Dons with expressiosn of good will and appreciation from all quarters for his magnificent contribution over his ten years with the Club.
On 9th January 2023 Glentoran FC announced that Niall had signed up with them.
