Brother of Seb Ross.
Ethan signed a two year contract extension in 2019 and went out on loan to Dunfermline Athletic on the 3rd of January 2020, returning to the Dons at the commencement of th enational lockdown.
On 2nd October 2020 it as announced that Ethan was to join Raith Rovers for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season. However, he was recalled to Pittodrie on 29th January 2021.
At the end of the season he did not take up the offer of a new contract and left the Club.
On 14th October 2021 it was announced that Ethan had signed a permanent contract with Raith Rovers and that Aberdeen had agreed a youth compensation deal with Raith Rovers that includes an upfront fee and significant sell-on percentage that protects the longer term interests of AFC should Ethan leave Raith Rovers in the future.
